This is what can happen if you put a yurt up too close to trees!the cover is proberbly saveable but the frame has been totally destroyed.we made the cover to fit our friends ashwood yurt frame last year.she will definatley need a new frame which can be expensive,it is a shame because a yurt frame should far outlive the canvas cover,which will last 6-8 years ifits out in the elements full time.
The trouble bein is that the wind weakens the roots,so theres no telling which of these storms will blow trees down.luckily linda wasnt in the yurt at the time as it could have been fatal.
